WEDDINGS
Luke & Hollie
“Thank you so much once again for lighting up our wedding so beautifully! It really did make all the difference. After your lighting had kicked in, the place came alive and all of the photos looked stunning. Working with you has been such a pleasure. We felt safe and confident in your capable hands and your attention to detail was inspiring to witness. So many people have been talking about the amazing psychedelic lights, and one friend said you looked like a scientist at work in the corner! We can't imagine doing a future event without your amazing projections!”
“Astral Projections were the best choice we made about our wedding aesthetic. The light show was like nothing our guests had ever seen, and our friends and family are still talking about it a year later. Sophie managed to make an unusual venue work incredibly well, and turned it into something utterly unique and magical. This was no mean feat considering we were in a Yorkshire medieval castle with very few plugs! Sophie is extremely professional, organised, empathetic and just wonderful to be around, as well as hugely talented at what she does. Astral Projections really made our day. 10/10 in every way.”

“We asked Astral Projections to create spectacular lighting effects for our wedding. We were in a field on generator power, with an awkward shaped teepee - none of this was a barrier to Sophie and the team. There was not an inch, inside or out of the giant tent that wasn't covered in the most incredible psychedelic light show. Our guests had never seen anything like it. It made our friends playing in the band feel like they were performing at Glastonbury. Sophie even ordered bespoke slides for the lights that reflected the design of our wedding and referenced us as a couple. It was some of the best money we spent and better than I would have dreamt was possible. Also the team were just so nice to work with and slotted right into the event and were lovely with our family and the kids etc. I guess you'd imagine that a light show is like having a firework display, but it's so so much more - it turned our teepee into a magical wonderland. Beautiful, highly skilled work. Could not recommend enough.”
LIVE SHOWS & MUSIC
Orlando Weeks
“I have had the great pleasure of working with Astral Projections on a couple of occasions. For the launch party of my record HOP UP where Sophie flooded Sessions Arts Club with light and colour (100% stealing the show) and for my largest and most ambitious live concert in the main hall of the Barbican. For this we worked together closely and in collaboration with Ed Warren (TPI lighting designer of the year 2023) to create a totally unique light show. Sophie's vision and creativity, matched with her diligent work ethic, meant that she was great to work with and I was thrilled with the results. I cannot sing her praises loud enough and look forward to being able to collaborate with her again in the future.”

“The visuals of the show aided the audience in being similarly wrapped up by sound. Squinting in awe...the room was awash with refracted light. A liquid light show projected back of stage by Astral Projections cast mellow colours seeping into one another and added to the atmosphere of Weeks’ showcase of art..”

“Crystal-clear sound levels, starry light designs and liquified motion graphics are a boon tonight for Weeks’ stunning mood music. His are songs to be transported by: dreamy, supple and texturally rich... As colourful blobs morph on the back screen you’re reminded of early childhood and the discovery of new shapes and sounds. There must be intent in the design.”
